I am a pediatric physician scientist and am passionate about understanding how early experiences shape fetal and infant brain development. I am particularly interested in the development of sensory systems (e.g., audition, vision, touch, etc.)
I currently train at Children’s National as part of their Pediatric Research Track Residency and conduct research at the Developing Brain Institute headed by Dr. Catherine Limperopoulos.
I earned my MD/PhD degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. My thesis work examined how sensory systems support language in adults under the mentorship of Dr. Maximilian Riesenhuber in the Laboratory for Computational Cognitive Neuroscience.
